Project Architect

Upon completing his Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana Tech University Mr. Rath enrolled in Lousiana State University’s Master of Landscape Architecture program.  After graduation he secured a temporary work visa for employment in the landscape architecture and urban design office of Spackman Mossop + Michaels in Sydney, Australia.  While there only briefly, he served as primary design support on a new campus master plan for the Parliamentary Triangle in Canberra, Australia. Mr. Rath returned to the states and worked for 7 years at Trahan Architects in Baton Rouge.  While there, he served integral roles in the design and construction administration of several projects including the new Louisiana State University’s Women’s Softball Stadium, the MM Roberts Stadium Expansion & Renovation at University of Southern Mississippi and the 200 million dollar enchancement and renovation for the Louisiana Superdome.  Mr. Rath also saw the Louisiana State Museum Sports Hall of Fame from some of the first design itterations through the completion of construction documents. In the Spring of 2012 Mr. Rath joined Holden Architects.  In the two short years with Holden Architects he oversaw the construction administration responsibilities for a 7.7 million dollar dormitory renovation.  He’s one of the contributing project managers for the New Brusly Police Station and has lead numerous food service dining renovations projects.
